Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers met for the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really proceeding.
